Was at Turtle Ridge today. What a great place! Thank God there are people like this that give there time and love to care for these hurt animals. I have been to a lot of animal care centers but this is by far the best.
Called earlier today about an injured rat that I found. Told them that I would be coming in on my lunch break at work to get her the necessary veterinary care. Arrive there at 5:20 PM knowing that they closed at six, since I called and confirmed. Must've thought it was a beautiful day to go home early, because they were not there and I had to see that little rat die my arms four hours later.
We found a duck who was injured and they totally took him in and are helping him... They are awesome ppl!
Thanks for taking the injured squirrel in that was hit by a car in our neighborhood.
So glad I found out about Turtle Ridge. I found 6 abandoned opossum babies this morning. When I called they didn't hesitate to take them in. As soon as I got there, they were mixing up formula for them. I feel like these Joeys will have a great chance at a natural life!! Thanks for the work you do
