One of the Worst Experiences of my Life – My Boyfriend and I were expecting a Dinner of the Century and ended up dissapointed. The NZ Lamb which we had read about was nothing close to the quality of Colorado Lamb. Some of the other dishes we ordered were Ok but nothing to ever make us return with all the other choices locally.
Great service, great food – I had a business meeting over lunch at Turner's last week. This is an awesome place to eat. Service is impeccable, from attentive seating, to a waterglass kept full. Everyone in the restaurant seems to be aware that the customer is there to be served. But the food is out of this world. Great food! – We called few minutes before our arrival, was seated at the bar; but very luckily changed to a tall individual bar table instead of right next to the bartender. However, our servant wasn't very attentive. We had a meat sampler, which was very tasty, tender and juicy! Lamb chop, vension and filet mignon were all good. The seafood chowder was very good with salmon, squid, mussel and vege, great broth as well - not too creamy and sticky. fancy joint – this place has some great steaks. I got the lamb and it was great. my buddy got the t bone steak it was huge. All their stuff is all natural and grass fed with no hormones added. we arived a little under dressed and still got great service especialy from the bar tender. It was a wonderfull experience and cant wait till the next time I go.
Great service but flaky steak grilling – Great interior, excellent service, parking is free and nearby. Only blip was that I had to send back my rib eye steak because it was underdone. We were seated near the open kitchen and saw that at least 4 other diners had sent back their steaks to be further cooked. Perhaps it was an aberration but it seemed the chef was generally under-cooking the steaks. All in all, it was a great meal.
Very classy, professional, but comfortable dining environement. – Excellent service! Great menu selection, everything was perfect and delicious. The best Lamb Porterhouse Chops I've ever eaten.
Nice place – I went to Turners for a birthday dinner alone with my girlfriend. I'm a big steak lover and this was my first steakhouse experience. The service was very good. The waiters were very helpful and very polite. I would go back for the service alone. I got the rib eye steak and I was a little unsatisified with it. The steak was a little overly seasoned so it was a lot saltier than I would like, but this was a problem for the edges, and not so much with the center of the meat. best steak and seafood – I went to the turner restaurant with a group of 17 people and I must tell everyone: we had the very best time!! the food was superb, the service was even better. This was a 5 hr b-day party in their private room. The wine was excellent, the bar was excellent. What else can I say? They followed my instructions ( how I wanted the drinks served, food etc exactly as requested) They are so warm and helpfull!! you won't regret it!!
