We have been looking for a house to rent in Broken Arrow for about a month. We went and did the self guided tour for 2 properties and called TPG over 15 times and left numerous voicemails. Never was able to get ahold of them and nobody ever called me back. The application fee was $75 for BOTH applications and then magically as soon as I applied less than 24 hours goes by and both are no longer available? FISHY. This company is a scam. I met all the approval criteria, paid the requested fee and was denied because of credit score, but my credit score is 100+ higher than they require. I have confirmed that my perfect rental history, job verification (which I make 4times the rent), nor my credits was ran. When I brought it to their Rep. Meagan Walker attention, the communication stopped. This is a scam and I believe racism is a major factor.
I have had multiple friends live on the properties they have. Not one of my friends are happy. ranging from mold problems, sewage problems, leaks and many other inhabitable conditions. it may look ok for the price and then you move in. It all goes downhill from there. Alabama has free lawyers you can use if you're already roped in. they set you up with habitat for humanity and your case starts there. it's a long process so you will need to find housing somewhere else and make sure you take the best pictures possible. before ... read more
