I loved it! – Great thai food and fast service. The portions are just right and the service is fast. The atmosphere is young and cozy.
Decent – The food here is decent if you are not familiar with really good Thai food. Stay away from the Pad Thai, one of the most popular Thai dishes throughout is pretty tasteless ... I've had better ready-to-cook ones from Trader Joes. The service was ok, but stay away from ordering delivery, there's a gal who takes the orders down and she's managed to botch things up quite a few times.
very mediocre thai food – just had dinner there tonight, and thought the place would be good considering a lot of the reviews. the place is pretty loud inside, but at least the music is decent. first thing we ordered was the crab cakes; breaded, greasy and a spongey consistency not at all reminiscent of ANY shrimp i've ever had. next we ordered the shrimp pad thai; DECENT, but nothing to really praise. lastly, we had the crab noodles; this was the worst of the three. dry and overly spicy noodles and fishy smelling crab-HORRI... read more
No complaints from me. – Serving size was adequate. The decor was fine. The food - INCREDIBLE. Tuk-Tuk does service better than anyone in the area. The staff is warm and on top of anything you need. Sometimes quality costs a bit more then quantity...and here at tuk-tuk IT'S WORTH IT!
decent, but OVERRATED – nice atmosphere and staff, no doubt about that. you can definitely get better thai food at the multitudes of other places in the west la area. small portions and relatively high prices just don't jive too well with thai food.
Noisy - YES – I have to disagree with the last reviewer. The service over the last five years has always been great. They've had the same staff and management since they opened. They always remember what I like. Food is always great. It is noisy, they're threatening to fix that. We'll see.
Bad Service, Okay Thai food – This place has average thai food if you are in the area, the place is small, and the dinner is pricey for the little portions. The place is very loud, and the service is horrible. The waitress does not care about you or your food. Lousy service, pricey thai food.
good spot... – Tasty consistant thai food. I have eaten here twice and enjoyed it on both occasions...
Yummy Tuk Tuk – Since I moved to LA, Tuk Tuk has become by far my favorite Thai restaurant. The food here is amazing, and the atmosphere is very relaxing and romantic. Although I always like to venture away from the classics, the Pad Thai there is incredible, in addition to their Prik King and Pad See Ewe. As a vegetarian, I couldn't ask for a more delicious dining experience.
