Overrated – Restaurant is chic, clean and simple. Food is fresh and good for a summer's day, but service is HORRIBLE. They pretty much hustle in the corner and chat and hardly pay any attention to diners. In short, overrated.
THE BEST THAI FOOD EVER...IGNORE THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS...THEY ARE UNTRUE!!!!!!!! – This place is awesome. I don't know why anyone would complain about the service, I think the service is great. The waitresses are very sweet and remember your order from last time and are thrilled when you return. The food is well priced and the portions are large. Someone complained about the size of the portions...nonsense, unless you are a hefty one you may need to order two meals probably like you do everywhere else or eat before you go. Th... read more
Hooray for tuk-tuk. – I enjoyed my self. I loved the decor. The food was great. The staff was pleasant. Will definitely return.
OVERRATED – ive been here a couple of times after reading all the reviews and both times dont see what all the hype is about-just average. Definitely better thai places in LA-not impressed with this one
Great food prep and distinctive style, but... – i've immersed myself in thai cuisine (and culture) for the last 7 years and can differentiate among regional cuisines (issan, udon, bangkok) blindfolded. like many other thai eateries transplated onto california soil, tuk tuk tends to defy traditional regional differnces. its pad woon sen, for example, incorporates californian's interest in health by adding veggie ingredients (soy bean and broccoli sprouts, for example) not found in other places i've eaten. and it does so while... read more
Where have I been? – Lived in the area for 8 years and finally pulled my head out (of the sand). Tuk-Tuk @ Pico & Robertson is one of the best restaurants I've ever experienced. Wonderful food, matched with a comfortable yet elegant decor and a great staff made for a nice meal.
Great Thai Food! – TukTuk is a very good and I would highly recommend to every one. You won't be disappointed.
New look - same good food – Walking into tuk-tuk my mouth begins to water. The new design only adds to this. Pinks and oranges mixed with bamboo accents, dark wood booths and a cherry wood floor are inviting and comfortable. The food is as good as ever. A new wine list, offering world varietals at inexpensive prices is a nice addition also. A nice soundtrack plays in the back ground. I asked what they were playing and no one knew.
Good food. Great Place. Nice people. – Seafood Hotpot - tuk-tuk thai - Cathy and Tera. A really nice place to spend an evening.
