When I got pregnant in January I asked around about who had the best evidence based care. El Rio Midwives came highly recommended. I went in expecting to work with a good office. What a disappointment. I saw 4 different Midwives. I only remember the names of the two decent ones. I gave it 28 weeks before calling it quits with this practice. In the last 28 weeks: 1. failed to tell me they scheduled my first ultrasound but I wasn't contacted to schedule it either. I love coming here! The staff is really nice and friendly. I love being able to give birth at the TMC hospital and still have the support of the birthing center staff.
