Amazing service with upbeat staff! The pasta primavera was absolutely amazing. I will be going back.
Had a wonderful dining experience at True Kitchen + Bar last night. Their decor is tastefully done and inviting. The wait staff are very pleasant, warm, and accommodating. We started off our evening with a perfectly blended margarita. The food was fantastic! We had a wonderful blackened Ahi tuna appetizer, followed by a rich and delicious tomato bisque soup and flavorful caesar salad. Great atmosphere and service, but all around a rip off. Usually in a restaurant like this (Brix for example), you'll get a small complimentary salad or dinner bread to go along with the high prices. I paid $8 for prawns added to my dish and they gave me 4 small ones. The main dish was just ok. I paid $7 for cheesecake that didn't have much flavor and tasted previously frozen. Even though they state every dessert is house made, it was a disappointment. I might be back, but only for a drink.
Went to True Kitchen tonight, great food, great atmosphere and the Whiskey Old Fashion is the best! Ask to sit in Greg's area and I guarantee you won't be disappointed! We had the crab cakes, roasted Brussels sprouts and Humma ganoosh for appetizers. All very good! The Salmon, Short Ribs, Scallops and duck were fantastic!
