I worked for prime in the flat bed divison, i really liked the company and wished i could of hung in there. The owner amd managmemt treat you with respect. My problem i had was my dm, he let me go 16 weeks without a check and i just couldnt take it anymore. He had to many drivers on his board and he took care of the senority drivers first. I would definatly drive for them again just not with the same dm...
Was very disappointed that I won't be starting a new career with Prime Inc. My recruiter tell me that I'm not eligible for a job with this company because I've been unemployed for a few months. First time I've ever been told that I can't have a job because I don't have a job. Makes no sense.
Been driving since 2003 but with Prime since 2010. Came to Prime to lease. Have not looked back/regretted it. This career is not for everyone but or those who are interested, the sky is the limit. Stay strong and motivated (SSgt Phillips, USMC,'87-00)
First off, overall, I believe prime is a excellent company, and rarely hear anything bad about them, nor their drivers... before yesterday, around 2pm eastern time. That's why I'm not giving them 5 stars. What happened was this: my father, a driver for a different company, and I, who ride with him, pulled into his current shipper Chobani, in New Berlin, NY. Amazon Rules and prime sucks
I would recommend any female who wants to be an over the road driver to come to prime and train because we do have female awareness for sexual harassment and action will be taken place, I started at CRST and had bad experience with 0 consequences for the trainer whom harassed me, in matter of fact I got belittled by the other person!!!!!
If you're a Jim Palmer driver, you cannot use your comdata fuel card here for the cafeteria. But the food was good quality. Maybe just slightly expensive. The showers were pretty nice. There is a basketball court and some treadmills and elliptical machines. There's bunk rooms. It's a nice big space. There's a pool table and great wifi. The staff were super nice.
Family close company. Communication with dispatch & other departments are good.
