Students were gone, so enjoyed the Trops on Broadway. Great drinks as always. Better conversation with a variety of areas (too cold to enjoy the outside patio today)

PLEASE READ!!!!!! My wife and I went to Trop's (South Side location) for one drink and opened a tab. I gave the kid working my debit card to start the tab. After having that drink, we decided to leave and close the tab. I attempted to pay with my debit card they held. Unfortunately, THEY HAD ALREADY GIVEN MY DEBIT CARD TO SOMEONE ELSE! Shortly after that the fraudulent charges begin. I would beware of this poor establishment and the system they use for your money. I will never go to either locations again.

We have reviewed the video from last night. It looks like a guy from your group was who closed out the tab and has your card. Hopefully this helps. We understand that this is a stressful and frustrating situation and again we apologize for this happening. I was on the first customer when they opened in the 80's and I was at Stephens College! They never disappoint!!
