Take the kids to this place! It's like a petting zoo, with parrots roaming around freely and waiting to be fed; they are friendly, but you should ask the store manager if it's okay to pet them. It usually is. Don't worry. Snakes and lizards are kept in glass cases. Tarantulas from Arizona or Mexico are original souvenirs, as they make very good pets despite their scary looks. The store frequently has sales on macaws and cockatoos.

Hopefully this week. The breeders normally call us a day or 2 ahead of to let us know what they have and are bringing. Keep watching our posts we post them usually within the hour they were brought in. Thank you
The owner is argumentative and rude and supports their employees in fraudulent mask exceptions. They are not following CDC guidelines and have made it very clear where they stand in the political climate of today. It is disturbing to say the least.
We have been and out of here 1000’s of times. The owners are absolutely the greatest friendliest people. They are really knowledgeable about all animal care but do show a fancy to the special breeds. We can’t say enough good things about this place. True Red Blood American Patriots. We love stopping by just to visit and seeing the new stock of critters. We give this place two thumbs up 👍 and can tell you won’t find a better place to shop than TROPICAL KINGDOM. Nice job crew. Keep up the Great Work!!!

This place is awful. As a parrot owner I don’t have many options in Tucson when shopping for specialty items/food and I will never return. The few times I have been in the store you could smell the unclean enclosures as soon as you walk in the door. The birds for sale are packed into cages and those that are boarded/on display have more room to themselves but are still in filthy conditions. I’m saddened to see this business doesn’t care about the public or Tucson for that matter. But the best part is the same way you don’t care about our safety we don’t have to care about you and your business. You will continue to lose the business of many locals. All because you want to act like children.
