Just saw a great photo of The Conestoga. I think of it as the fun and fair course in Mesquite Nevada. Our October golf group (28 golfers) always puts it on the must play list. Starts out gentle, then tests you with challenging par 3's and par5's on the front. Scorable back 9 and the great views get even better. Distinctive that they use wagon wheels for the 150 yard markers; love that. The greens are always fast and in great shape. Best tip, study the "yardage book", it is full of tips for playing each hole and the maps show... read more
