I just left the er and I was in svt when i arrived and the whole team of nurses swarmed me and got it under control it was the craziest hospital experience of my life but the staff there were amazing! I had to do this weird breathing technique where the nurses turned me upside while running an ekg and it was like an episode of greys anatomy. dr. booton and his team are a. some of the most beautiful people i have ever seen and b. the most caring. everyone was so sweet and everything happened so fast and was honestly really sc... read more

I will start of by saying I am someone who never goes to the hospital for anything, EVER (mainly because I’ve never really needed to and also because the idea of going is an uneasy feeling); however, I had been presenting symptoms that were concerning/potentially life-threatening according to my OB Nurse Practitioner so I decided to go to the ER. My experience at Summit was top notch and I could not be more thankful for the staff immediate assessment of me/my condition, quickness to get me in, seen by the doctor in a timely ... read more

My mom passed away on August 30th 2020. I was informed by Dr. Adderly the 6th floor hospitalist. As of today September 11, 2020 Dr. Adderly nor anyone else at summit has signed her death certificate. My brother lives in Indiana I live in Georgia and of course mom lived in Tennessee. This is truly unprofessional and unacceptable. On top of dealing with our grief we have to overcome unnecessary obstacles to moving forward with probate, insurance and legal issues so I could not recommend Tristar Summit hospital to anyone.

Business response:

We regret that this experience fell short of expectations. I shared your review with our CMO on Saturday and have been told resolution is in progress. Again I am very sorry for any delay you experienced and our condolences go to you and your family.

Summit is making stupid mistakes. They originally mandated that no one could visit their family members giving birth or after birth. Now they are arbitrarily setting up rules to block certain trained & certified doulas from assisting with births. I am outraged. My daughter is due in two weeks and has issues with anxiety. These new arbitrary and anti family rules put her and the baby in distress. She needs the support of her family or her chosen doula. Her doctor is outraged and the doula organization is outraged at Summit. A... read more

I had a very bad experience at this hospital! I would not recommend anyone to go there. The staff was far from being friendly let alone explaining some things to me. Every question I asked was answered with numerous answers, never once was I honestly told the truth! Needless to say, I signed myself out and am seeking medical attention elsewhere.

Business response:

We regret that this experience fell short of expectations. Please reach out to us so we can learn more about your experience. I am happy to connect you with the nurse manager in charge of the floor for which you were a patient.

We are from Memphis and really didn't know where to go! We chose the first hospital that was close and went! So glad we did. The ER staff made my 3 year old (and this frantic momma) feel right at home. From the front desk staff, the medical assistants, the Rns, AND the doctor. (EVEN registration & patrol officer!!) They all made us feel right at home. My 3 year old was SO brave because of how well trained they were! 🙏🏽 thank you so much! My Sutton rose has 5 stitches now, but that's not stopping her! We hope the pm ER staf... read more
