Get directionsNurses were wonderful IF you could get them in the room. I was told each nurse had 8 patients on that particular day. Another day I was told 1 tech for 34 patients. Shame on you Tristar Skyline Medical! Your patients and nurses suffer. We will go somewhere else next time. So, word of warning: if you have to go to Skyline, better take you some help if you need some!
The nurses and staff on the 5th floor have been friendly and professional, but take to long to answer call lights, probably because of understaffing. From what I understand there is a 1 to 4 nurse to patient ratio and 1 tech. I would like to suggest a CNA for each wing on each floor to help with call lights and assisting patients. We have been in other hospitals with my mother and have never had an issue with this. Not only that, but when a patient is already a stroke victim, a fall risk, and urinates because they can't hold... read more
I was transported by ambulance to this hospital and the care I received was excellent! Dr. Heavrin, and his team were great. Can't say enough about this hospital and staff. A big thank you Dr. HEAVRIN, AND YOUR TEAM for saving my life that night
My mother was transported by ambulance to this hospital last night. We were 600 miles from home and did not know what to expect. All of the staff went above and beyond their duties to care for her. I even received a call this evening from one of the doctors concerning her lab results.
I can't say enough about this hospital and don't understand why others have rated it low. My son was recently in the ER and then in for surgery. Every staff member we encountered was warm, welcoming, and very helpful. We couldn't have asked for a better experience the day of his surgery. Bravo, Skyline!
I didn't like my sister is there she has a kidney disease and a friend of ours took us out there and my friend spilled some water and she ask for a paper towel to clean it up bc she didn't want anybody falling on it so they just said paper towels over there they need to do better than that
Kelly the trauma charge nurse is the worst excuse for a human being. I would not allow her near a snake. My children's father was severely stabbed July1st and she first said he don't exist and then accused his sister and I of stabbing him. I am the one who got him help although was across town when he called me saying he was stabbed. She screamed and yelled at us like we were dogs. His sister broke down and cries. We asked if he was alive she would not tell us and kept screaming at us. Overall she was terrible. I feel so bad... read more
