I was impressed how much HMC cares about our community. Creek Wood High School Clinical Interns toured the hospital yesterday. We were amazed at all of the new technology and renovations made to keep patient care a priority. What a blessing to have such a great facility right here in our backyard!
My husband is a long distance truck driver. He became violently ill with sepsis and l severely high blood sugar on his last run. An ambulance picked him up at a Flying J truck stop and he was taken to Horizon hospital in Dickson, Tennessee for care. I flew out from Utah as fast as I could. He has received excellent care here. I am amazed at the skill, professionalism, and absolute kindness that has been poured out upon us both. Our mom had a fall that put a pretty big gash on her eyebrow. Went to ER Saturday was in and out very quick. The ER staff and doctors were amazing! Thank you so much!
My brothers nurse today thought it was ok for him to be NPO but put his lunch tray in front of him and let him look at it until after 3pm. When I asked her about she said there was nothing she could do about it. BS!!! That's called ABUSE!!!! Don't even get me started on the State regulations with insulin. You really need to observe your nurses and find ones who believe in patient care and not just a paycheck. I was glad to see two other nurses sitting at that desk turn to her and tell her no that it was cruel.
Thank you for taking such excellent care of my mom this week. The staff was all amazing and we are most grateful for your kind and skillful care.
