Absolutely horrible delivery service. Paid in advance and still no gas for a 68 yr. Old customer. Called and can't get any help. Could take my money but can't get gas. It s been 1 and a half weeks. Told me it d be delivered today but still no gas! I will be changing companies and wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Amerigas took one month to deliver my propane and then they overcharged me for 13.5 gallons that they did not fill. I checked my tank the day before they came and I had 17 gallons in it. The next day they filled my tank to 75 gallons - a total of 58 gallons. They charged me for 71.5 gallons. I called and spoke with someone and she said she filed a claim and someone would deal with it. That was weeks ago. I left an email but they never responded. Now I've been on hold for 37 minutes and cannot get this issue resolved. This is... read more

Worst service ever. We called for a propane fill on 1/11/21 and were told someone would be out within 14 days. On 1/18/21 a driver came and looked at the wrong tank and decided he couldn’t access it due to 1” of snow and left. We called the emergency number And spoke to 8 different reps to explain the situation that the driver looked at the wrong tank and the driveway was perfectly clear to the correct tank. At this point we were OUT of propane and had no heat. We were repeatedly told someone would call us back to resolve th... read more

Called December 20,2020 (after several attempts, got a person), set up to have propane tank removed, told no fees and would be refunded any amount gas in tank. On January 2, the person that came to remove tank was very rude and said that they don’t do refunds and that’s how it is! Well, that’s not what we were told on the phone so I called Amerigas on January 2. A girl named Oaklin was looking at our account and said she would have to call me back. It’s now January 21 and I’m still waiting. I was expecting a refund from the ... read more

Why are the state/ counties that this incompetent company services be allowed to operate. Before they will make a delivery of propane, you need to pay in advance and once your payment clears they will provide the delivery. What they do not tell you is the date provided does not mean anything. I ordered and paid for a delivery on Jan 5, 2021. Money was taken from my account on Jan 7th. The scheduled delivery was between 1/7 to 1/19. I contact there so called customer representatives, 3 of them, on the 19th was told the delive... read more

If i could give them 0 stars I would . This is my second winter with them and I haven't had fuel most of the winter. I call about 3 weeks before i am officially out, they tell me it will be 2 weeks until my delivery and it never comes. You cant get ahold of anyone when you call. And they don't have their online chats working. they are one of the worse company's I've ever had. They need to be shut done in my opinion. As someone with young children in the home and fuel is our primary source of eating and heating we need it. I ... read more

I don’t know who AmeriGas think they are but playing with peoples money and having kids in the heat ain’t cool. Something needs to be done about them ASAP. And then on top of that being LIED to EVERY TIME I call......NO COOL. Unprofessional, annoying and DISRESPECTFUL.

Lack of leadership, knowledge, and customer service. I haven't received a bill in 3 months. Left hand has no clue what right hand is doing. ZERO stars. AmeriGas seems to be growing through acquisition. However as soon as my contract is up I will be switching to a reputable reliable propane supplier. After seeing their rating i believe their growth strategy will not support them. They don't seem to have the correct infrastructure to sustain their growth. Shame on their leadership.

Was with them for 10 years, removed a deck that had a gas line going to it for a BBQ and slightly pinched a line, pin hole leak. Called them out, driver spent 3 minute cutting the line, installing a plug. Got a bill for $289 for the fix, then came out, when every other gas company was at 3.39 a gallon, I was charged $5.58 a gallon, $489 bill for a pinhole leak. Then, to make matters worse, after I told them I was changing companies,, they sent a bill for the rental for 2021, and the next week, when the new company, and I had... read more
