I’m a new customer with 3 kids, I needed to get a delivery but told me I needed to finish setting up my account before they could delivery me propane, but mind you they delivered me propane already! So now when I need it the most they can’t get me propane cause my account isn’t set up but sent me propane?!? Anybody getting this? So now they have to call me back to set it up witch could take 2 days on top of the 7 it takes them to deliver and I only live a mile from there! If I could afford a new tank and the refill at the sa... read more

There is a reason AmeriGas has a 1 star rating. I would give them less if possible. We had been with our local company (Tenbrooks) for at least 50 years, but then AmeriGas bought them, and it has been downhill since. They have ZERO customer service ! You cannot talk to a real person! If you do get through to a person, it is at least a 45 minute wait. Their fees are outrageous as well ! We have local family-owned gas companies in our area, which we will be switching to. AmeriGas apparently doesn't care, as I have left several... read more

I have been an Amerigas customer for more than twenty years. We have had minor issues in the past but this year is beyond what is acceptable. We are on automatic deliveries with a monitor on our 500 gallon propane tank in the ground. The automatic delivery system prompted for a delivery on 1/23/2021. On 1/30/21 we checked the online system to see that we had 11% in the tank. We have called numerous times, talked to numerous people over the last six days and still do not have a propane delivery. We have been heating our house... read more

As most people using propane are living in rural situations their dependence on propane is critical. Amerigas took over my local propane company who used to fill the tank at 20% capacity. The first year they denied us propane in the middle of winter as we used it for a "decorative fireplace" Untrue, we use it for heating the entire house, an old house in the country on a gravel road. Every winter since then I have to ring them and argue for a tank refill. We can go through 4-5 % at night when it is 11°F. If it snows the truc... read more

They promise delivery two weeks àfter payment and showed up 3 and 1/2 weeks later. They gave the excuse that they did not have enough drivers. Heritage always had enough drivers. They are trying to make more money with less drivers. If they don't soon fix this we are afraid we will run out of propane and make a lot of people left in cold conditions.

We signed up for an automatic delivery service in November , but they have failed to automatically deliver fuel. The tank is nearly empty. it was difficult to contact the company (long wait times [about 45 minutes] and the website poorly functions [failure to connect to webpage errors]). A company representative tells us our account was not properly set up and that we are therefore on will-call. Will-call means that the customer must call to schedule deliveries and will be charged a much higher rate ($0.87 higher per cft hig... read more

This is probably the worst company I have ever dealt with. I spent 90 minutes on their customer service line. More than 2o minutes multiple times, with no answer. Every time I indicated I was interested in a new account they answered after the first ring. They don't care anout their customers.

Stay away.. they charged our card and did not come out. Every time we call they put us on hold and leave us there. After telling us they would provide a refund they started sending bills for fake services....using the $1k they initially charged and running down our balance !!!!!!!!!! Total Crooks!

The very worst service I have ever dealt with. The people on the phone are nice but the follow up and delivery are non existent. 6 weeks to get a delivery, and I had to go to the terminal and talk to a driver to get it delivered. He was angry too, the communication between ordering and delivery just did not work. The driver was great and delivered my propane the same day I spoke with him from 25 miles away. He said they do not get the information for orders. I just spent 35 minutes on hold. Worst service ever by a gas compan... read more
