The employees are always friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to assist with any questions or special orders.
Trek La Mesa has been my go to bike shop now for 15 years. I have been responsible for the purchase of over 20 bikes from them through my recommendation to friends and family. They are always open and friendly and helpful for even the most simple questions. They support the San Diego County Bicycle Coalition as well as other cycling concerns. I consider them family and the employees friends.
I always get great customer service at the shop. The “beards” are rock stars.
I came in because I had attempted to replace the tube in my front tire and it wasn't holding air. The guy at the service counter inspected the rim and tire interior to make sure there were no issues, and then installed a new tube for me. The whole process took only about 10 minutes.
I just wanted to extend my gratitude to the La Mesa store for helping me out the last couple years building two bikes from the ground up. in the last two years, I've been able to custom build first a Domané SL, then this year with a Madone SL after retiring one of my most favorite Trek road frames of all time, the 98' Y-Foil. Without Trek - La Mesa's unending patience with all of my questions, quirky requests, and obnoxious OCD/ADD/M-O-U-S-E, my project bikes would have never come to fruition. Worst experience of my life! Avoid these guys at ALL COSTS! They quick to sell you bikes but if anything goes wrong they will not help you at all! Seat post broke during a race and I got injured. They would not help me at all. Sent me to 5 different people in their organization and the worst was Mike says the post broke because did my fault! He was the most obnoxious, jerk to ever talk to (see photo). He stoled the broken seat post from me saying this is mine now and promised to hold on to it until I sent back the other one.... read more
