Complete false advertising. They emailed us a rate for a stay and play package that should have been about $350 with upgrade to Signature Course, but then proceeded to charge us $546 for a one night stay. Customer Service was completely unhelpful when called to find out why such a huge price increase, only reason was hotel room was in Lodge building compared to Inn. We had several dead bugs, including two dead caterpillars wrapped in a big web, and they wouldn’t allow us to switch rooms. Had a similar experience last time we were here but only a few dead spiders. Decided to give it another shot. Never again. They need new housekeepers. Not sure how it was missed.
Golf: Amazing course (Signature)! We had a wonderful time on the course and the views were breathtaking. The Inn: no A/C in the common areas, very outdated, no staff available at the Inn, only at the Lodge. Legend on the Hill Restaurant: the A/C was out so they had the windows with NO screens open and flies were buzzing everywhere. The Inside was very outdated with dirty carpet and terrible tables and chairs. RecommendedThe resort was very nice, premier golf was excellent. Tradition was not as nice.
Went up with the family and stayed in a condo. Contacted them over 10 days ago with the issues we had while there and still have heard nothing. The customer service is not very good. We alerted the front desk while there with the issues and nothing was done. We won’t be going back anytime soon. It’s not like it was busy there were very few people there and a few of the restaurants on the property weren’t open.
Went to the Sports Bar for dinner tonight. Everything was fine until we sat down at our table and a group of golfers in the middle of the restaurant wouldn’t stop saying the N-word and racial slurs. Then, a couple of guys sat at a table next to us and one of them proceeded to call the elderly gentleman that was with him every name in the book because he isn’t a trump supporter. Treetops is awesome all I can say. Amazing experience.
This is probably our 4th trip to Treetops with the GroupGolfer deal. We love it. Now that the rooms are renovated and clean it is much better. The Premier course was in awesome shape. The Masterpiece not so much, the greens were very bumpy because of being recently air- rated (sp?). We much prefer the Signature or the Premier. We really enjoyed our time there.
