Trane does not care about its customers. I got a brand new unit hoping to avoid headaches with AC problems. I had it serviced regularly. When it wasn’t working after the winter, I was frankly shocked. My service provider showed where there’s a leak in the coils that was almost certainly a manufacturer’s defect. I called Trane about the issue, and when they finally got back to me, they simply said their policy was that they aren’t responsible for any of the costs surrounding replacing the part.
