Reached out to Toyota Universe stating my interested in a certain CPO vehicle. Also had my TrueCar Guarantee in hand. After six emails, Sameh suddenly mentions that because I am not active duty military, then the price of the vehicle will go up $495 because “they added the military discount into the advertised price”. Further emails to the salesman on the TrueCar Cerfifiate, a man named Rob, confirmed that it was true. That’s not a TrueCar Guarantee.
