Very frustrating experience at Clarkson Eyecare in Novi. We were billed twice (both personally and through our insurance). Over $600 for an eye exam!!! They agreed it was a mistake on their part, but still no refund after 6+ months. Based on our experience, I would not recommend them.
This was my second appointment with Dr. Pavone. He was thorough, knowledgeable and professional. He took time to clearly explain things and answer my questions. I was completely satisfied and will return to Dr. Pavone for my next checkup.
Doctors Tait, Connoly and Duvall are the BEST eye doctors anywhere! I cannot say enough to express my gratitude to their awesome staff of professionals and their amazing care of my eyes!!
I appreciate the visit on sept 16, 2025 and the thorough examination by Dr. Nagy. Also, Dr. Nagy spent significant amount of time with me explaining my vision conditions and what is needed for additional expert consultation. I only wish I did not miss the yearly appointments for the last few years. Yearly visit is of course important for everyone especially for me at my age. Doctor is a nice guy, but he doesn’t seem to really thorough about each patient’s individual needs, more like just a routine check. And he doesn’t offer the try on sample glasses to walk around to really test out the prescription. It makes me doubting about what it really feels like. Not a whole lot Asian options in terms of frames. Very expensive. After insurance still $400? So I didn’t order it. I will not come back to this place after two visits.
