De'Ann is THE BEST stylist i've ever had! – this review is coming from a guy who has thick, coarse, unmanageable hair. i found De'Ann through Citysearch this summer, and immediately made an appointment after reading the reviews - this'll be my 5th cut from her and its always been fantastic. she's the only stylist i've EVER, EVER had that has been able to make my cut look exactly like the pictures i bring in AND make it just as easy to style myself (the models always have a different texture than mine). she knows exactly how ... read more

The New South African Stylist is GREAT!!! – I am a 26 y/o male with slightly thinning hair. I've had a really tough time finding a stylist who is talented enough to give me a great cut while at the same time being patient enough to actually LISTEN to what I want. If your thinking of a change, GO for it!!! – All I can say is I am impressed!! I found Touch of Red, based on the reviews on the internet and also for their coloring techniques. After reading them, I was sold! The shop is located in one of the trendiest parts of the city. Perfect location for this salon. The personalities and people fit go together. best haircut and color I have had in Houston – I'm so excited I visited touch of red salon today after reading many reviews on line and I have to admit I was a little scared because I have had several bad expieriences here in Houston at top salons!!!!!! Love Sami – I always read these reviews, but I rarely write them. I had to write about my experience at A Touch of Red. I had my first appointment with Sami September 29th. My hair was orange and fried when I arrived-the result of a really bad color job. Sami took me in and worked her magic. I am just thrilled with the result! Colors of the world – I live in New York and have I have been to some of the best hair salons all over the states and over seas some have been okay I have had some great cuts I found Touch of red becaue my mom insisted on me going there my thought was oh here we go again. CELEBRATION OF HOT HAIR – I guess I will have to get use to all the complements I'm getting for my new color and cut Sami did a great job on my highlights with three diffrent colors and they blended so well I just love my Hair cut it was like Posh so its cute cool and sassy the shop is cool they serve wine and very cozy. De had did my hair the first time and she is good no one is bad there everyone is good but Sam tops it all she rocks you need to make your appoinments in advance.
