I originally was hosting with Zero Lag, which was acquired by Total Server Solutions. After the acquisition, my site would go down 2-3 times per month resulting in lost revenue. After enduring over a year of these site outages, I ultimately decided to move to a new host. Total Server Solutions refuses to release us from our contract despite a clear breach of contract since they were not providing reliable service. RecommendedI use a monthly hosting plan and set up a clients website the same way. The service has always been great. If I have an issue I need help with tech support is extremely prompt. The plans are very affordable. Plus their customer service team will check in from time to time to make sure you're account needs are still being met. I have tried other web hosting providers (Go Daddy, Host Gator) and found a combination of fees, poor customer service, confusing billing, and slow tech support to be beyond frustrating. TSS is like the Eagles Song, Hotel California, you can check in, but you can never leave. Been trying to cancel my service since last year, paid a reduced fee, this year since my requests were never acknowledged and still can't stop the phone calls from your call center in India. TSS operates like a scammer. Despite a number of tickets opened to resolve this, direct calls to billing and assurances that it is finished and you can see I don't owe money and the account should be closed - it continues. AVOID AVOID AVOID
Do what you say instead if sending threats of termination of services
Horrible, absolutely horrible. BUYER BEWARE. This will not honor their own terms of service regarding cancellation and then use unfair business practices to try and keep you as a customer. Definitely not the way to run a business. 🤬
