The staff was super helpful when I was looking for an apartment! They showed me layouts and let me your which was super helpful when figuring out furniture etc!
I was actually excited to give Total Property a decent review until they took a gigantic chunk of my deposit for "cleaning". Mind you the only rooms I checked out of was a bedroom and a bathroom. I guess even after my days of scrubbing and cleaning, they had to steal their money somewhere. On top of this scheme, the office staff is extremely rude and unhelpful. Apartment is nice. Asking for maintenance request at the start was a bit difficult. Had to wait a month for something! Most office people were nice. Big frustration when moving in because of the past tenant. My apartment location is very close to a bus stop, restaurants, gas station, and grocery store. Felt EXTREMELY ripped off when moving out. I cleaned the place from top to bottom and made sure to contact maintenance for replacements but was still charged $150 and didn't get that back from my deposit. I was told that I wou... read more
Great place To live in very nice Apartments Great locations for everything
Excellent service!! I spent 5 years in Ames moving around semester to semester and having 4 different landlords at the apartments I stayed in. Total Property Management has been the best by far. They were quick in their response to maintence, even on the weekends. I was always greeted with a smile in their main office, and they remembered who I was. When I first moved into my TPM apartment, this was the first time I felt comfortable with the cleanliness to feel as if I could move in right away without having to clean first. ... read more
