A long time ago, in the bustling town of Austin, Texas, a man named Mike Rypka bought a food trailer and a red Vespa. His dream? To start a taco joint. Like all great chefs, he filled his first menu with more experiments than meals — and thanks to some trips around town on his Vespa, and overheard iterations of "Damn, these tacos are good!" at the food trailer, it was declared a hit. Came here pretty last minute to feed myself and all my friends put in a pretty large order and got taken care of wonderfully highly recommend this place everyone was super friendly and inviting!! Everyone loved their tacos and it is now our new favorite taco place!!!! Thanks so much can’t wait to go back for more

My husband & I were super excited to try this place. The menu sounds fabulous, but the reality of the food we got was disappointing. Most of it was bland & boring. What did have some flavor was the opposite of what was expected.

Cool quiet atmosphere. Line was out the door. Outside eating area very nice !
Long time fan of Torchy’s and so excited they are in KC! We got our drinks and food quickly and they were delicious as always. I did notice that the corn tortillas were not doubled up like I’m use to from other locations. The music inside was a bit loud for ordering with masks on and tables on the patio were not far enough apart for social distancing. But we will definitely be back!
