After the first visit my daughter talked about Dr, Parver and Desire' for days. She even asked if I could stop by and visit a few days ago! They are quite the team! Today was my second visit with Dr. Parver and her assistant Desire'. Desire' and my daughter started the visit by having fun and playing around a little. Dr. Parver and her assistant Desire were AWESOME!!! My daughter is 9 and is terrified of needles and she gets really bad anxiety attacks; even though she was loosing it both Dr. Parver and Desire were very supportive and patient to my child and waited for her to calm down. Dr. Parver had to take care of other patients while my daughter was having an episode and getting herself together but came right after and was quick and efficient...the bottom line I was very pleased. My daughter was going to the dentist for the first time today and while all of the staff was friendly and the waiting area was great, her experience with the dentist was horrible. Dr Victoria Pauer DDS was impatient and rude. It created a horrible first experience at the dentist for both my daughter and myself. Since my daughter was nervous she was not as cooperative and Dr Pauer gave dirty looks and awful sighs from behind her mask. I've been to kool smiles a few times now, and their staff has been nothing but understanding and helpful. They have given me the guidance I need that suits my childs best interest, and given my child their best effort and attention to detail. They make the experience as smooth and peaceful as possible. The waiting room might be disheartening and stressful at times, but I don't beleive it's because the staff. Every time I have been to cool smiles which has been 3 times with my child the people that work there were rude unprofessional they tell you the wrong information then act like it's your fault. They care nothing about their patients and I would not recommend anyone to take your child teen or even a dog there. I don't even want to give them a star that's how bad they are. It doesn't matter how early you get there how much patience you have just don't go

SCAM ALERT: They told me I needed 2 root canals on 2 teeth that had old fillings. I had no pain and even questioned the dentist (Rose M. Cantu, DDS) on whether they could just fill them up vs a root canal since they didn't hurt or anything. She said no and that my only option was 1) extract the tooth or 2) root canal. They refer you to another office for the root canals- can someone say 1) dumb dentist and 2) referral office probably gives a cut of the bill?? HMMMM... Shame on you Kool Smiles!
This place is geared towards kids & family. Unfortunately, they seemto put quantity over quality and must have a time-per-patient quota to follow as my daughter & I both paid a visit and were rescheduled for fillings after being there for almost 4 hours. I have NEVER had to go back again for a filling (they usually do it on the same visit) and I have never waited so long, especially with a child (who are impatient, have to use the bathroom & get hungry).
