Good until the end – So today a family member and i went into tonic. We had a waitress name Andrea who seemed sweet in the begining. She made us feel welcome and gave me a compliment on my earrings, anyway. Great place for a group – I went there with some friends the other night and our bartender, Conor McCartan, was awesome!! Very friendly and great service! He treated us well...we will be back!
Fun for a night with friends – I went to Tonic for Happy Hour after work with some friends. They played awesome music...everything from 80's to the new hits. They have this wheel that you spin during happy hour- who doesn't like winning a free drink? Before we knew it, it was 10pm- time flies when you're having so much fun. Overall, this is a great place for a chill happy hour after work. I definitley recommend checking it out!
Best Christmas Party – My company had our Christmas party here and we had so much fun. They played our own Ipod so we could dance!! Who does that?? They even had Christmas movies playing on the big screens. Food was good. Our bartender was so HOT! I know I'll be back for that alone!! Good stuff! Definately, going back. I have never been on a typical Friday or Sat. night, so I can't agree or disagree with others on here. I can imagine it gets busy, but I am not sure that's a bad thing?? Great people watching!
Great Time – I recently planned my girlfriend?s birthday and after calling several places, finally decided to go with Tonic East. It def was the right choice. Everyone there from the manager who helped me planned the party, to the bouncer out front, to our waitress were great and made sure we had a great time. They lied. – I called the event planner and made a reservation for a birthday party with 20 people. The person I spoke with told me that my friends and I would be in the back, that they contolled every speaker in the place so it wouldn't get too loud, and that there was plenty of dancing space. Great place for a birthday! – I had my birthday party here this year and had a blast! The service was amazing and we danced all night. And the rooftop...wow! Our bottle was very affordable and everyone was happy in the end!
Great place for a bachlorette party!!!!!!!!!!1 – OM, this place was amazing! Had my sister's bachlorette party there in July and we had a great time! The service was way more than I expected. We did and open bar with dinner and I can't believe how much we got for such a good price. The crowd was great and the music was even better! It got a bit crowded but that was fine b/c everyone was having such a GREAT time! Highly recommended!!!!!!1
great outdoor bar For some reason I really like Tonic. They always seem to have fun music playing that you can dance to (anything from Notorious BIG to Britney Spears). When they are not playing sports (yuck) on their huge screen Tvs they play the matching music video. Their drink prices are average for NYC. They have a fantastic 3rd floor outdoor bar with a great view of midtown. My only complaint is that Tonic tends to be pretty crowded. I have had trouble getting to the bar to get a drink.
