I enjoy talking with patients, examening them thoroughly and coming up with the proper diagnosis and treatment plan to get my patients back their pre injury function. I completed a Hand and Microvascular fellowship to help me focus my practice on the hand and upper extremity.

Doctor failed to record pre and post-procedure range of motion of digit to evaluate efficacy of treatment. Per online research, the actual procedure as subjected was very limited in scope, thus adding skepticism to my final outcome. Overall, the procedure was rushed and patient was not given future direction.
Dr. Havener remembered personal things about me, answered questions thoroughly. I have the information I need to make good decisions in the future.
Dr Havener was fantastic. He talks to you as a person and not as a patient. He explains thoroughly to help you understand the process. I’m ready for my next visit!
His un-hurried professionalism, which included good listening, great communication, excellent analytical skills, ordering needed x-rays immediately and subsequent interpretation led to various alternative treatments. After jointly agreeing to a treatment of shots to partially relieve my pain, he immediately provided me with that painless treatment expertly. He also gave me information about where to order an inexpensive wrist brace. I ordered it that day and it was delivered the next day.
Dr. Havener took the time to not only explain my diagnosis with visual charts, the long term effect of treatment with surgery versus treatment without surgery and types of surgery options but, also answered all my questions and concerns. I am 5 weeks post-opp and my pain is significantly improved.
DR. Havener understood my problem and provided several solutions to follow to relieve the pain in my hand. I felt confident in his assessment and the solutions that were provided.
I've seen Dr Havener twice this year for half injuries from my growing puppy. Both times I've been impressed. He's straight forward and informative! Highly recommend!
Dr Havener is friendly and easy to talk with. I didn’t feel rushed and he was very thorough and explained everything so I was able to understand. It was a very good experience.
I had a carpal tunnel release surgery. The same surgery was done on the opposite hand by another surgeon, two years ago. There’s no comparison. What a better experience. Smaller incision. Less pain. Better technique. Less invasive procedure. I could hug him! Dr Havener’s team is exceptional as well. Such a great experience!
