I am so pleased with Dr. Todd Atkinson, MD here in Ft. Myers, FL. I am 65 female and active in kayaking , biking ,photography and other activities. In the summer of 2017 my 18 year old shoulder repair failed and needed revision and arthritis corrections. on July 31 I had surgery and 4 months later I am back in my kayak for gentle paddling and looking forward to camping and photography again. Time will strengthen the shoulder and I will be back to full activities. Thanks Dr. Todd and staff.

Very positive results. Great front office, Happy with the services and help. Dr. Atkinson has a well trained friendly and knowledgeable staff. This is our third experience with Dr. Atkinson and would highly recommend him. Results were very satisfactory and nothing negative to report. Surgeries went well and P.T. following had perfect results.. I have recommended him to family and friends.

Referred to Dr.Atkinson from son in law who is orthopedic surgeon following two failed rotator cuff surgeries. Had shoulder replacement resulting in complete range of motion and now pain free. Back to swimming golf yoga and pickle ball Accolades for an incredible surgical and recovery experience

I had a total shoulder replacement, Dr. Atkinson was fabulous and the surgery went way better than I had anticipated. My recovery was amazing,

When I first saw Dr. Atkinson one year ago, he was surprised that I had lived with so much pain in my left shoulder for so many years. He was caring and kind and explained everything he was going to do to help me. He couldn't guarantee 100% improvement but assured me I would be much better. He totally replaced my left shoulder with a titanium implant. He is a miracle worker. My shoulder is 100% . I no longer have any pain and have full NORMAL range of motion and strength! He's the best!

I had a shoulder tear repaired and bursitis and arthritis removed in November, 2016. I would highly recommend Dr. Atkinson if you are looking for a shoulder surgeon. I was in constant pain for over a year and getting very little sleep. Today I can do everything I need to do with little to no discomfort. I also had my physical therapy performed by his therapy group. They did an excellent job motivating me and helping me regain my strength and get to the point I am today.

Dr. Atkinson perfomed my rotator cuff surgery 6 years ago. Five months ago Dr. Atkinson performed my total knee replacemt (TKR). Dr. Atkinson is caring, explains all procedures and takes an interest in his patients individual situations. I cannot say enough good things about the office staff and the PT department, They got me through the most difficult event in my life with caring and supporative measures. I loved going to PT. Ed and Louis made PT fun and entertaining. It never felt like work!

I was Dr. Atkinson's patient 7 yrs ago for rotator cuff surgery which was very successful. Dr. Atkinson was the best listener, educator & cheerleader one could ever wish for. I used the PT service at the Physician's office. They were excellent as well as entertaining! I never dreaded going to PT but always looked forward to their straight forward explanations of each exercise and their encouragement. This year I returned to Dr. Atkinson with a pinched Ulnar Nerve. Also a very happy outcome!

Dr Atkinson has been my doctor for 8 years. I had a hip replacement in 2009 and still going strong. He is my go to doctor for all my orithopedic needs. He has a great bedside manor and always puts his patients first. If you want a topnotch orithopedic surgeon, who cares deeply about he is patients, this is the guy.
