I stopped by today for an oil change two hours prior to the store closing. I was told that they would be able to complete the service. They call back 1 1/2 hours later to tell me that they could not do my oil change and if I could leave my car overnight. For an oil change, I advised that I would head back to the store. I get back to the store and the store is closed. I do not have access to my keys and no oil change. I went to Firestone (Turnersville, NJ) on 4/22/17 for a front end wheel alignment, the next day when I took my car for a drive the harmonic balancer and belt came off of the car. I called up to the store to let them know that someone had tampered with my car, being a mechanic myself I know that the bolt was securely fastened before I took it up to be serviced. Prior to today's visit I had the car looked at by the same store on 2/04/2017 prepping for inspection. I took my vehicle to the store for an inspection schedule at 9:00. The car did not make it in until 10:00. I had the prior report sitting in with car for the tech to review.. On today's visit though multiple steering/ suspensions issues were noted, and not able to pass inspection. In 3 months my control arms and front struts did not go from good to failing condition. I've been going to Firestone for years and the service has always been hit or miss. However, the service at this Firestone location has significantly declined to the point that I do not even trust them anymore. During a recent trip, the mechanic did not put the parts on the brake system correctly and damaged the new rotors causing us to lose the use of the car an additional day. A senior mechanic had to come in the next day to fix the work the first mechanic had erroneously done, and they had to replace the brand new rotors ... read more

Firestone shop in Whitehall Pa is the absolute worst. I have been a customer of Firestone for years. I will never again go to your Whitehall Pa location. Where Manny And Jay are employed. I am a customer who carries around the complete history of his vehicles history. I do not appreciate high pressure sales tactics or deceptive sales practices. I went in for three items. Worst Firestone I have ever been to. I have been using Firestone and Tires Plus for the past 10 years. Horrible customer service. The manager was yelling a response to my concerns through the door so I could hear at the service rep instead of getting off his personal phone and coming out and explaining it to me. I went there and asked for a diagnostic check because I had an error code show up on my truck. I made an appointment for a diagnostic check as the engine light on my 2000 ***** ***** had recently come on. Ten minutes before my appt time, i called as I was having a problem finding the store. The phone rang and rang and rang. I finally got an answer, by then I was a few minutes late, Three hours later, i received a quote for $1300. My friend had concerns about the brakes on his 2004 Camry. I took him to Firestone to have them checked out. It was affirmed that his brakes were fine, but that he needed some other work done, including the replacement of the rack and pinion unit. My friend hesitated in part because he had to pick his wife up from work, and wouldn't have enough time to get the work done. Firestone used zip ties to hold together radiator after replacement instead of bolts July 2016. Also some old bolts that were reused that were broken were glued back on with just the head of the bolt. After heater coil replaced February 2017, when leaving parking lot light came on low on fluid. Had to return to shop to fix and show employee there was no fluid in pan. ABS light now comes on after heater coil repair which included having to remove dashboard to replace coil.
