my experience were terrible took my car in for service to firestone in oak park they damage my car on the trunk and hood went back to complaint about it the manage said he fired the mechanic that work on my car file a claim send pictures and estimate but they denial my claim i feel that i were treated unfairly spend my money with firestone and got treaded badly that not fair

I took my car in last Saturday because my ac was blowing cool air then it started blowing really warm air. They said the vehicle had no Freon in it. They filled it up with freon. It was cool for 3 days then it started blowing warm air again. I called Firestone and took it back in. They said it is not leaking. The older guy up front said we can't tell what is wrong if it's not doing it when you bring it in. I can't bring it in when it's doing it because you need to have an appointment. Going out of town and went to get my vehicle checked out. Have used this location for about 4 years. They told me my front brakes were very bad and the repairs would involve the rotors. $453.64 for front brakes only. Had no issues with my brakes and only have 55,000 miles on my car. Asked why they never mentioned changing brakes/ rotors before. They service my vehicle every 6000 miles and rotate the tires. Said I needed a second opinion. To whom it may concern. I had a horrible experience with the Firestone @ 2935 East Texas Street Bossier City La 71111. I visited this place on March 26th, 2021 for a simple alignment. They put my car on the rack for about an hour or hour and a half. Just to come back and tell me they could not do an alignment due to other issues wrong with the car. I've used the tires plus in Palm Beach Gardens, FL for 13 years, and they have always been fair and done good work. Most recently, they have had turnover in management which has taken their customer service to less than zero. In early January brought my son's car that they have been servicing for 13 years in with an overheating problem, and they quoted 2,000 to repair a water pump, timing belt and thermostat. Buyer Beware Store #6904 Your company is suppose to be built on it's people. First off i would like to say Michelle R******* ( Manager of Tire Sales) is incredibly disrespectful. This store treats the customers like numbers. It makes the customer feel real nice when you call the cooperate firestone number to discuss an issue and when the " manager " calls you back over 3 days later to discuss the issues takes another 45 minutes of your day to make you tell the story over again only for you to be contacted by a third perso... read more

Had a late payment of $58 - completely forgot about it. I understand that's my fault. I had one call from them and a voicemail. I didn't check my voicemail till a few days later. They sent the late payment to collections. My credit score has tanked in the middle of refinance. Now I may not be able to get my refi and do my addition over $58. We're in the middle of a pandemic, show some leniency. Inept staff and archaic payment processing systems - Paid CC early, got hit with a late fee and collections anyhow. Called on 1/28, clerk says that's how their system is set up - spoke w/manager who found cleared payment and allegedly fixed the issue. . .Next day get a call from collections - spoke to rep, they supposedly never took me off call list - allegedly fixed issue.
