MAJOR complaint of incompetence, or malicious intent - I am not sure how to categorize this. I recently purchased tires for my truck. I purchased tires on the NTB website, and set an appointment to have them installed. I had other personal appointments, which not only did this make me late for, but also prevented me from returning before the store closed. Made an 10:30 appointment for oil change drops car off at 10:15 I call at 2:56pm told car was not ready it's now after 6pm and the shop is closed but they still have my car. I was not told that they will be keeping my car overnight. This is an inconvenience for me now my children will not be able to go to school tomorrow.
It was a simple tire replacement. The mechanic failed to install the tire valve gasket. I woke up the next morning with a completely flat tire and had to be in Baltimore at 8:30 am. When I called, **** the manager already knew what the problem was. When I asked how she could know without looking at the car, she said the mechanic told her he forgot to install the gasket after I left the lot. So she knew and didn't bother to call me about it! DONT EVER USE NTB I was charged $115.99 to "program" TPMS sensors. This process on the Mazda3 is literally, turn key on, turn key off, wait 15min, drive car. I know this because i was given the instructions as i was to finish the programing by driving the car. I realize that businesses need to pay employees and we all need to make a living but that is not $116.00 worth of labor. Unfortunately, I'm unable to give zero stars so I'll have to settle for one star. ONE tire had a slow leak and I was advised that they were unable to patch as the nail was too close to the side wall and while they were inspecting my other tires, it would be in my best interest if I replaced all FOUR. I took it to another shop to get a second opinion, which I'm glad I followed my gut feeling because it turns out all I needed was a patch and an alignment. I had an appointment for an oil change for Thursday, Oct 21st. They cancelled and rescheduled for Friday, the 22nd. I showed up on time only to find out they could not do it until 3pm. After killing an hour waiting, I was then told "We are out of your requested oil but would replace it with a higher rated oil for only $20.00 more". They could have told me the first time they called about the lack of my requested oil or even the next day when I was put off another hour. Instead they waited until I returned to tell me. They Asked me immediately what services I needed and followed me to the car to ensure no Miscommunication. He gave me an estimated wait time and cost. I also witnessed many customers come in and he was pleasant and honest with each customer about wait time. He was right on the money with cost and time. Would definitely come back for more service needs.
0 was not an option. This location has 2 managers in place that are rude, evasive and nasty. My vehicle was taken in on a Tuesday. I had to call them the following day for an update. The Manager acted as if I had gotten on his nerve. He then tells me that it would be ready on Thursday.
