I took my car in on a Monday to have the water pump replaced. First they claimed the anti-theft system had been triggered and they couldn't get it to start. They wanted me to pay them and then tow it to Ford. A Ford representative told me NOT to do that, that NTB screwed up, and they needed to fix it. They then spent the next two days claiming it was this sensor or that sensor, none of which matched what was going on. Absolutely horrid. I took my 2009 escape to get 4 new tires on it because of a good buy 3 get one free deal offered. Found out they did not balance 3 tires, they did not do my alignment, they did not replace the sensor housings, they broke 3 lug nuts and tried to charge me $179 for new ones. They also quoted me for shocks and for a condenser on my AC, neither of which have any issues AT ALL. Avoid this place at all costs! All they do is make up things to try to get more $$$$. This place does not even deserve a 1 star rating but the system is making me do it. I made a mistake by coming here, there are other places in Lake Wylie to get better service...in fact it's not even close when it comes to honesty, customer service and pricing. I have tried to complain to the company about the damage done to my truck but I seem to be getting the run around. BAIT AND SWITCH. I received a coupon for an oil change, tire rotation, fuel filter replacement for 49.99. They called me to tell me that my car was ready. When I got there my bill had JUMPED to 75.00 dollars. I asked them to explain this to me. They came up with all kinds of excuses that was not authorized by me but according to them 'was necessary'. The service is pathetic to say the least. I had purchased my Pirelli tires from NTB in Metairie a few years back. At the time I paid extra for the road hazard with lifetime rotation, balancing, and repair. I have not had to use this service since purchasing the tires. I have used this location for a few years with different vehicles without any complaints until now. I brought my truck in to get the usual oil change and tire rotation. Several services were recommended which I declined because a few had already been done by my mechanic. I left did a a couple errands returned home and decided to fill my windshield washer tank. FERNANDINA BEACH FL LOCATION: Brought my truck in because I had a slow leak in my front passenger tire. Expecting they could just plug it and I'd be on my way. They put my truck up, brought the tire in and showed me the nail. He said it was too close to the wall and that they couldn't patch it. I would have to buy a new tire. Wrote a google review regarding unpleasant experience for one of their stores. As a followup, spoke to corporate representative who made a follow up appointment next day at another store. She quoted me a price for mounting and balancing. Upon arrival at store, same scenario. Additional charges were quoted upon arrival and I was asked to sign the work order with these additional charges. Most egregious was tire stems.
