There are not enough words to describe the joy and the peace of mind I felt after my surgery. Dr. McLaughlin did cataract surgery on my eyes and put the extended vision lens in both eyes. He and his team were wonderful, thoughtful, and ever so professional throughout the whole process, but the very best thing of all is that I can see better than I have in my whole life. I recently had cataract surgery on both eyes. The staff were extremely efficient, courteous, and kind. Waiting time to see the doctor was at a minimum. The examinations and tests were very pleasant but professionally business-like by the nurses. In consultation Dr. McLaughlin listened, reviewed the details about my condition and what was required. I recently gave Dr. McLaughlins name to a friend that needs cataract removal surgery. He recently did my surgery and I could not be happier. He runs his office like a well oiled machine and the surgery center is like a well choreographed ballet. Staff in both areas are in their toes and know their stuff. My vision is so improved that I knocked a can of Coke over on my nightstand but caught it before it spilled....in the dark! You cannot beat that.
I had two cataract surgeries within three weeks with an intraocular lens implanted in each eye. One lens was for distance, the other was for near vision. Never have I been treated so well by a doctor and his entire staff. They really feel like family. The evening of my first surgery, I could read the thread across the bottom of the TV. The next day my vision had improved from 20/200 to 20/25. After the second surgery, after one week, my vision had improved from 20/100 to 20/20. Dr McLaughlin performed a Cataract surgery on my right eye. Wow! I can see forever with the new lens. I tested out to be 20-15 where it was 20-75 before. Fantastic job that was done in the morning, seeing in the afternoon. No Pain, lots of gain. Can't wait for the Left eye. I highly recommend Dr McLaughlin for your eye repairs!
Dr. McLaughlin is a personable individual, who explains issues with your sight in laymen terms. He got my glaucoma under control AND performed cataract removal surgery on both eyes. I can see wonderfully now and couldn't be happier! He works with a team of professionals, all of whom are great.
Dr. McLaughlin is a well educated and caring physician. He takes time to answer your questions and is understanding. His office runs smoothly and professionally. Dr. McLaughlin performed cataract and IOL implant surgery on my eyes in May/June 2019 and I could not be happier with the results. Due to my extreme nearsightedness (-18) I was a bit skeptical about how well I would be able to see and if I would have to still wear glasses.
