I've been going to Dr. McLaughlin for four years. He's patient, kind, and always has time to explain things to me. He's very busy, but I never feel rushed by him. He has a great team working with him and his staff always has smiles and are very friendly. They treat you with respect and kindness. I am moving to Massachusetts and I already know I will be hard pressed to find another ophthalmologist of the caliber of Dr. McLaughlin.
This was a follow up appt and everything was perfect! Great staff and very little wait time.

I have been a patient of Dr. Tim McLaughlin for over ten years. He is an expert in his field. Dr. McLaughlin is a gifted surgeon with a calm and reassuring demeanor. I never felt rushed during our appointment; he is an effective communicator. I highly recommend Dr. McLaughlin to anyone who needs an ophthalmologist.
As a harpist I struggled with reading music, placed on the music stand to the left,, and seeing all of the 47 harp strings, on the right. Dr. McLaughlin implanted two differently calibrated lenses - one in my left eye and the other in my right eye. These lenses having the different optical power ( diopter ) not only enable me to read music and play.harp, but also use the computer, etc. and function without using the glasses. The staff was great, the procedure painless and recovery only 2 days.
I’ve been a patient of Dr. McLaughlin since I was in my early 30s. I had just been told I had glaucoma and the doctor was less than helpful. I was told I could wake up blind. Dr. McLaughlin truly saved my life. He saw a small red patch in my eye & felt it was a Malt lymphoma & that I needed a biopsy to fully diagnose. The biopsy showed it was indeed a Malt lymphoma. I had no symptoms or pain. Because this was caught very early, my prognosis is great. It is so rare to find a physician with such expertise, professionalism & caring as Dr. McLaughlin. I will never be able to thank him enough for all that he has done for me.
When my Optometrist told me I needed cataract surgery Dr. McLaughlin was all that came to mind. He had taken care of my Mother years before and I was so impressed with him and how he treated her. I called his office and was given an appointment date that was not far out. My first appointment with him he assured me he could fix the problem and I was scheduled for the first eye surgery again not too far out.
