Tillman's Roadhouse provides a casual approach to sophisticated dining. Located in a building from the 1950s in the Bishop Arts District, patrons are surrounded by memorabilia from times gone by. A favorite of area office workers, the unique blend of old and new provides an unusual oasis from the doldrums. The menu focuses on fish and seafood, although there are beef and chicken dishes as well. My sisters and I loved this place. It is so pretty inside. I liked my steak but loved my sisters burger (she is usually picky but enjoyed it just as much). The seasoned popcorn wasn't great. But i'd love to go back.
Great food and fun atmosphere! Fun little neighborhood, too.
Business response:
Hope to have you back in here soon Patricia!! 😀
The ribs were to die for, nicely seasoned and tender. I had another dish that I can't recall what it was so it wasn't that great but the ribs off of my hubby's plate hit the spot.
The s'mores were fun.
The smoked salmon tostada was awesome and the server was nice!!
Business response:
Hi Keith! I do apologize on behalf of the Tillman's family for your unpleasant experience dining with us. Please, come by sometime soon and we will be sure to take care of you! Ask for Perla, and I will get you started with some Free appetizers ! Again, I do apologize and hope you can give us another chance.
We were really hoping to enjoy this place but unfortunately the service was not great and food was mediocre at best. It started off well with the goat cheese tater tots, which were delicious and diffferent. However, we all thought our entrees left something to be desired. Our waiter was polite but never came back to ckeck on us. We had to constantly find someone if we needed something. We're not even sure he was aware we left! Definitely no plans to return.
