The staff was very friendly. Jack is an excellent tour guide and has great stories. The food was top notch. The cater to food allergies, the gluten-free meal was delicious. The ride through the woods is peaceful and picturesque. We saw many elk, of all ages.

Our group of four just returned from the Elk Viewing Sleigh ride and dinner. Such a fun experience! Jack was a wonderful guide as he talked about elk, their habitat and the history of Thunder Bay Resort. The dinner was fantastic and the cabin atmosphere warm and cozy. We did this 20 years ago too and highly recommend it!

Great experience all around. Just what we needed after the holidays. Very nice staff, food , rooom, experience. We will be back
The elk viewing ride is amazing! The meal was wonderful and the guided wagon ride was beautiful. It was a rainy, snowy day but the covered wagon and blankets made it still enjoyable. Jack, our guide was friendly and shared his many years of knowledge of the elk herds, natural resources, and tourism in northeast Michigan. The sleigh bells on the horses in the snow made it seem like a postcard! I would highly recommend this winter adventure!
We had a wonderful time at Thunder Bay Resort today. Everyone was so friendly. The food made by Chef Spencer was out of this world. Wine tasting-yum. Elk viewing was just incredible. Beautiful, majestic animals! Jack was a great guide & very kind man. Thank you Thunder Bay Resort. I would recommend this to all.

Great time. Everyone was very Friendly. Elk viewing and dinner was excellent. The Bar and grill had great entertainment and staff.

My husband and I attended the Elk Viewing and Gourmet dinner tonight. I would give it 10 stars out of 5. It was so worth the money. It’s an experience that I would recommend to EVERYONE!
