It's not that I wouldn't recommend Thunder Bay entirely. The golf course is beautiful and in great shape. The real problem is the front desk staff. We were greeted rudely, at best. It's late September and they are not that busy. However they were not happy to see us because 2 of our party could not make it at the last minute. 1 had a death in the family and the other's husband was just diagnosed with cancer and started treatments. RecommendedGreat getaway weekend, celebrating our 30 year anniversary, Golf course well kept, restaurant had good food & lodging is a good value. Staff was really nice & friendly. We highly recommend it.

We came last year and had a great time so we are here again. The food in the cafe is delicious and the dinner sleigh ride is a one of a kind experience. The rooms are spotlessly clean. No smoking 👍. Would highly recommend!!
Had a great time and saw lots of elk. Ate too much. Tried to come for my 60th birthday in December but had to wait because of covid. Weather was sunny and beautiful
Entire experience was Amazing!! Was a great get away during the pandemic lockdown. Wonderful people and facilities . I highly recommend taking the elk tour.
Absolutely a great place! Very, very good food, drinks & wine. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly and funny.
Great experience. The rooms are great and the elk adventure with the gourmet dinner was off the charts wonderful. The owner was so kind and informative. I would highly recommend this adventure
