RecommendedThis is one of the BEST New Year's we have ever had!! From the excellent staff to the elk viewing ride to the gourmet dinner, wine tasting and absolutely wonderful - and FUNNY!! - entertainment we were treated to an amazing time. If you ever get the chance to do this make sure to do it - you will be SO glad you did!! Thanks Jack and staff - we WILL be back!! This time we'll do the golf trip - something to look forward to this summer!
Fabulous family run resort! Horse drawn sleigh ride through the woods to see Elk then on to the large cabin for a gourmet dinner & wine tasting. Perfect family adventure!
We had a wonderful Family Christmas at this resort. 18 of us came from far and wide. The Alpena Airport was convenient. The accommodations were great (a Chalet, 2 Villas and a rental House in the woods met all our needs). We watched deer frolic on the golf course, then headed out on X-country skies and snow shoes to enjoy the beautiful setting. Beyond wonderful, far more than we bargained for. THANK YOU Jack and staff. From the moment we walked into the lobby and were greeted, we smiled from then on. The warm drinks at the bar and grill....YUM!! and the beautiful horses and driver. Jack, what can we say. He was so impressive, and you can tell that he loves what he does. He was so pleasant. What a wonderful place .. our first time there it was more then we could of dreamed of . The grounds are just beautiful the staff was very friendly the food and beverage was wonderful . The sleah ride with horses was beyond gorages and the dinner they papered in the cabin in the woods was nothing I could of dreamed of ... our room was like a mini apartment everything we needed and more .. highly recommend 5 + stars in our eyes
