They were good for windows a few years ago but originally had the wrong dimensions for my living room one. We had a basement door installed in January but the opening is so small that we'll never get the couch out if we try to move. I should think that Thompson Creek would consider these things when they design the doors. I've also had some squeaking sounds at times, a brush plate fell off, and in an other non-related incident, the door wouldn't slide properly for two days.
The installers did an amazing job, kind, polite, and respectful.
I had 5 old aluminum windows replaced and Thompson Creek did an excellent job. They were on time, very neat, efficient and honest (they accidentally knocked over a clock and came right to me to apologize....truly impressed). The windows are beautiful and energy efficient. Had both front doors replaced along with the framework that had been damaged by the wind taking the storm door. As always, the Thompson Creek workmanship was excellent and timely, and we will use them again for future work.
