I had a torn bicep. Dr. Mckenzie and his staff were incredible during my pre and post op. If you're in need of a great surgeon look no further. Five out of Five ?????

My wife visited Dr McKensie and was pleased with his exam and treatment. Based on her experience and recommendations from friends I also visited him for severe shoulder pain. After consult and xrays he gave me an injection. My pain was relieved the next day and I was extremely pleased with the treatment.

I was originally referred to Dr. McKenzie by my primary physician for a right shoulder problem in 2008. I chose to return with a left shoulder problem and most recently, January of 2020, I again chose Dr. McKenzie when I developed problems with my left knee. All three surgeries were successfully performed by Dr. McKenzie. My reasons for always returning to Dr. McKenzie are simple, he is the most knowledgeable, thorough and caring physician I have met. He gives freely of his time and listens without rushing through the appoin... read more

Dr. McKenzie performed a hip replacement using the anterior approach on me, a 75-year-old male. Within the first 2 weeks following surgery I had such little discomfort that I was forgetting to use the walker and, at that time, abandoned it completely. Within 60 days I was back on the street riding my bike on 12 mile journeys and I was able to do a 5 mile walking tour of Victoria Canada at 100 days following surgery. I recommend Dr. McKenzie for hip replacement surgery without reservation, and I hope he will be available to r... read more

I was referred to Dr McKenzie by another surgeron. I had difficulty walking up and down stairs as well of dressing myself. The doctor that referred me had replaced both of my knees, and said that Dr McKenzie was an outstanding doctor and his method was very successful. After meeting with him, my wife and I were satisfied.

Jr. Dr. Thomas McKenzie was one of the most kindest and professional doctors in my history of medicine. I was referred by a friend who along with her 91 year old mother both had extremely successful hip replacements with Dr. McKenzie. I discovered that Dr. McKenzie had performed over 1800 procedures and used an anterior incision which is less invasive and has quicker recovery time. In 4 weeks, I was up and about and can run if I want to. I went into surgery at 5:30am and was awaken at approximately 11:00am and told I needed ... read more

Prior to hip surgery I would limp all the time and couldn't climb stairs without grabbing the railing to pull myself along. A friend told me about the anterior approach to total hip replacement and it sounded like the way to go. At that time I believe there were only a couple of orthopedic surgeons in the Lodi, Stockton area that performed the anterior method. So that's how I discovered Dr. McKenzie. Next I attended a free lecture in his office and made the decision to schedule surgery. His staff were very thorough in explai... read more
