He is a miracle worker. I would give him a 5 stars but it takes sometimes two weeks to get in.
How do you gradually increase pain meds for a Hospice brain cancer patient? He and his nurse practitioner takes the patient off meds controls swelling from the tumors and decreases pain meds leaving the patient feeling like she is being tortured. Seriously, if you have any options, run the other direction. If you are already dealing with him, turn it into the State.
The Iowa clinic pain management dept will dismiss you as a patient for any minor issue. They won't give you any notice and they don't care if you have your pain medication or not. I went to fill my montly prescription and my pharmacy didn't have my medicine in stock, they were going to have to order it and it wouldn't be in til Monday. So I went to a different pharmacy, so I would have my medication, and the clinic let me go because of this. Then the clinic had the nerve to blame me and said they have "trust issues" with me.... read more
He has been the best to me. He is straight forward an tells it has it is if you can't take it don't go to him he is good
I have had several types of procedures at this clinic with Dr. Hansen. I find him to be an extremely intelligent man with great care for his patients. I have never had any sort of problem with Dr. Hansen or is staff. Some folks who have issues may not be compliant with the terms of their care, and love to take it out on the doctor.
