Good business hotel – Stayed 1 night on corporate rate at the Westin St Francis. I did not manage to get the new tower side as it was fully booked due to some convention taking place. It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it at SweetHotelDeals.us They usually have some pretty good deals on there!

Beautiful Hotel! – I pretty much heart this place! This is where we got married last June. The views from the top floor are unparallel! We rented the entire 33rd floor...both Victors and the Alexandria Room. Between the gorgeous decor, amazing sunset, and gorgeous city views, the space was absolutely magestic! Great property in the heart of down town – Service is great. It is one of the nice Westin property that we have stayed.It is in a great location overlooking the union square & closer to shopping & other activities
Best Location! – I loved this hotel. My boyfriend and I stayed at the St. Francis for a little weekend getaway. The location is perfect to get to anywhere in the city. The building is gorgeous, with so much history. When we check in they gave us a complimentary upgrade to a double room with a large window that opened in the new tower. Modern, clean room. The service was excellent. They were always happy to help with directions, etc. Would definitely stay there the next time we go to San Fran.
Editorial Review – Located in the Tower Lobby of the historic Westin St. Francis, Caruso's serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and offers specialty coffee drinks and cocktails until midnight.
Beautiful Hotel – I had stayed at this hotel many times before looking it up on 'citysearch' and I was so disappointed to see how many terrible reviews it recieved. Every single time I come to San Francisco I make a point to stay at this hotel. I have not stayed in the older part of the hotel recently but I never had a problem with cleanliness. Great location – Good location but a bit dated. If you like modern or newly decorated hotels, then this is not for you. The hotel has a very friendly vibe, with the turn of the century style. You can almost picture people used to come to the front of the hotel with horse carriages. Unfortunately, it also smells like it's from the turn of the century and scared my husband a bit. Overrated – An unwarranted snootiness by hotel employees and a below average guest room force me to never stay here again. Cabs outside hotel won't take less than a $20 fare, my room smelled like wet dog and had paint chips literally falling off the wall. Bathrooms are smaller than my first apartment bathroom. Spa was nice, food was good.
