Their anesthesiologists, pathologists, and radiologist do not participate with many insurance plans including mine, but they won't tell you this, you just get a bill. After being told the hospital was in network and agreeing to have surgery I was surprised with bills I was told I'm responsible for totaling close to $3,000.00. This is a legal scam they run with The Bergan Anesthesia Group, Radiology Associates of Ridgewood, and Ridgewood Pathology Group.
Had my first surgery ever yesterday at valley. I cannot say enough about the same day surgery department. They were well organized extremely friendly and made sure I fully understood everything that was going to happen. My anesthesiologist dr Magnus was absolutely amazing. He also explained everything. And didn't get frustrated with me when I started hysterically crying in the OR. He helped to calm me down and assured me he would take care me as if I was his own. The Valley Hospital ER needs some serious help. Walked in at 10:15 pm to a reasonably empty waiting room. Two hours later EVERYONE ELSE IS GONE, including 4 people who walked in after us. A major cough and a tightening in the throat isn't important enough, I guess. I hope my husband doesn't end up like that patient in NYC who died in the ER waiting room........., but it's starting to look that way. #pathetic #goelsewhere
Dr Louise Legresti is the BEST oncologist! Both my mom and I have been cancer free for over 7 years because of her! No need to travel miles away from home to get awesome cancer treatment!
