Although I'm passed that special time in my life of child birth, I'm glad that hospitals now do have special services for the pregnant mother. I's a very emotional, and sometimes scary event in a woman's life. Even before I had mine 42 years ago and then some, pregnancy was considered just a normal event in a married woman's life. In reality today we know that women in all walks of life have children at different ages with different health issues. It's wonderful how women and babies can be monitored before and after birth. I experienced an unfortunate event last Monday which possibly could have ended my life. I was rushed to Valley, and due to their experience and wonderful care, gave me my life back. I can never thank the Emergency Dept, Bergen 3, ancillary departments and physicians enough for helping me through this difficult time. I cannot express how thankful I am to have been blessed with truly caring professionals. Thank you all ❤️
