MD Anderson is in a class of its own! When I got diagnosed in 2014 I contacted them through internet & they told me what to send in & they contacted me again with my appt. times & who my doctor would be. When I got the Dr.s name I was concerned that maybe he wouldn't be able to understand me or me understand him since he was from another country. I had Whipple surgery for pancreatic cancer on 8/9/12. Celebrating 5 years cancer free at my appointment on 8/21/17 ringing the hope bell . During my hospital stay everyone was exceptional!
Highly recommend MD Anderson Cancer Center. You will be overwhelmed on your first visit, but trust me. You will be guided every step of the way by helpful, knowledgeable and compassionate staff who are working every day to strike out cancer.
MD Anderson will always hold a special place in my heart.. my brother, Greg fought a hard 5 months in that hospital surrounded by the most wonderful people and staff. #ifightteamdees

The whole experience is so pleasant, for such bad reasons for being there. They treat you like they know you personally, make the family comfortable and you don't wait long to do what you there to do!
The work MD Anderson is doing in cancer research is beyond comparison. It's my pleasure to keep some of their instruments calibrated and running well!
