From putting socks on my feet to rubbing my back as I got sick, the nurses and staff are top notch. I've never been anywhere that is more thorough with plans and care. I didn't feel like another hospital bed. I felt like everyone truly wants me well and is working hard. This is a team who works together to help treat cancer patients and I'm forever grateful. I loved my nurses that I even shared my chocolate covered strawberries...and that says something!
MDA is the best cancer hospital in the country. My treatment there has been the best and I am alive today because of the dedication of everyone working there. Please consider donating to the MD Anderson Caring Fund that will help those employees so drastically affected by Hurricane Harvey.
Remember, there's no money in curing cancer but treating it is a cash cow.
