My daughter is a 15 year cancer survivor because of this wonderful hospital. She is currently here for colon and bowel issues and tomorrow will be her 8th surgery and I cannot say enough how wonderful they have been trying to help her (Stacey Holder). I thank God for these doctors and nurses caring for my daughter.

I have been treated at MD Anderson for 12 year from 7/28/05 to 8/16/17 with metastasized cancer. My journey has been long, but I have been blessed due to my doctor's here at MDA. I was a patient in the late 60's to about 73 also. There is no other hospital that I would go to. It is sad to say, but my wonderful husband is now a new patient here. We will walk this journey together. God has blessed us. Never, ever give up, and with a smile on our face. May God give these doctors the way to find a cure for this terrible disease.... read more

From the time you pull up to park until the time you leave, the experience at MDA is beyond words. Entering the lobby you are immediately met with a sense that you have come to the right place. No time was wasted in creating a protocol for my stage 3 colon cancer. I never doubted anything my Dr, his PA or his staff told me. They are warm and friendly yet very serious about their business and they know what they are doing. I put my life in their hands and they delivered. I have just marked my one year since my last chemo and ... read more

MDAnderson doctors and staff literally saved my life at Stage 4. I was admitted thru ER, stayed for a month after extensive surgery. I never met one staff member, including the important people that wheel you around to your test and back, that did not have a smile on their face and encouraged me every time they saw me! I did not feel embarrassed because of hair loss or ivs hooked up to me while in the hallways because we were all the same, the patients and their families fully understood. My cancer cane back in another area ... read more
