If anyone ever has to be at a Hospital, this is the only place I'd ever want to be at. MD Anderson 100% puts the patient and family first. Thank you Dr. Lewis and team for taking care of our boy.

When my husband was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer we had originally started care by a local oncologist. That experience turned into a nightmare. No treatment plan, sent here for one thing there for another...non of the different facilities had good communication between one another. Paying for scan after scan by people who didn't seem to even know how to read the scans. Not once did anyone show us a scan, the oncologist was the worse. Horrible at communication and ask him a question and he'd run out of the room and nev... read more

This hospital is the best. They have helped me so much with my AML and then my Stem Cell. The after care and concern of doctors and nurses is wonderful. Mind you I hate staying there because you can't sleep and everything they do hurts but that's every hospital. It's worth it. If you have cancer make a b-line to MD.

They need to invest more money into making patients more comfortable. Hire staff that has empathy for patients and family while going through this life changing experience. Work on staffing issues so patients don't have to wait so long. The patients are there because they don't feel well. No one wants to wait hours for doctors to sign orders so the patient may receive chemotherapy. Scheduling is another issue. Keep in mind patients have lives also. Clean the restrooms more often. Have classes for the healthcare team to drill... read more

Best Cancer treatment facility in the world. MDA was our third opinion, but should have been the first. Doctors at MDA got it right. Now, my Multiple Myeloma is in complete remission. My Stem Cell Transplant was August 4, 2015. It's been a great year and a half!! Thanks MDA!!

My visit to MD Anderson went very well. All personnel were very helpful and compassionate in their actions and my husband and I can not say enough good about Dr. Patrick Lynch and his team. He is the most humble man taking time to answer all our questions and put us at ease. His exams are thorough and results are shared well.
