Highly qualified assistance and security
You have to wait FOREVER for pain meds when your hurting. They don't get in a hurry for nothing. I'm in the hospital now as we speak!!
Doctors and nurses were so nice and caring to us during our month long stay. All the staff were great . Never met anyone who was not nice and very helpful
Horrible is an understatement!! I don’t think not one employee enjoys working here cause their attitude an patient care is the worst I have ever seen!!
I have always used this hospital. I had my daughter here in September 2018 and they were absolutely wonderful.

Worst hospital ever. Went in for kidney stone and couldn’t even get anything to kill the pain. I was discharged in worst pain then when I showed up after waiting 5 hours. This hospital is not worth going to. They will not help you and you will be treated poorly. I don’t even think I saw an actual doctor. Only nurses.
My Mom twice asked Dr. Savannah Duckworth at the Lakeland UMMC clinic to run a thyroid test. It was never done. She called to cancel an appointment & was on hold on 2 separate occasions for half an hour and just gave up. On a different day, I called to cancel that appt. and was on hold for 1 hour! Candice Adams (Director of Primary Care Services), who I was told is the supervisor for the appointment line switchboard, never answered my 3 calls nor returned my 2 voicemails or message HR relayed to her. My mother who has been suffering cancer for about 3 years now eventually got so sick & down she had to spend over 60 days @ UMMC. While spending those days there, she received very poor care. She was bed ridden, so they should have been bathing her properly & taking her to the bathroom when needed. Instead, you would think they allowed her to sit in urine for 60 days.
